Lapland at Whinfell Forest,
Cumbria

 

For those staying at Whinfell Forest, the heart of the village is completely transformed into a unique Lapland experience.

There will be plenty of Yuletide activities, spectacular decorations and fantastic Christmas entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, all with a Christmas Enchantment theme. Children will love taking part in the lantern making activity, festive face painting and visiting the Santa's Woodland Workshop.

There will also be Santa's reindeer hunt and Santa's stocking adventure to enjoy. You'll even be able to take the family to watch a traditional Pantomime and this year it is the old favourite Sleeping Beauty. Book your Lapland early at Whinfell Forest to ensure you don't miss out! Sherwood Forest

 

At Sherwood Forest, this Christmas we can guarantee a brilliant Christmas atmosphere as the village is transformed into a Winter Wonderland.

There will be the traditional Santa's Woodland Workshop and Singing Reindeer, plus snow every day!

Enjoy the Snow Queen's Lantern Making Procession and enjoy the Family Christmas Ice Party with its own white chocolate snow fountain. Take part in Santa's Stocking Making activity and enjoy carriage rides and woodland pony rides. Don't forget the seasonal pantomime as it's an occasion not to be missed. Sherwood Forest will be hosting Aladdin a traditional festive treat that is a great additional to any stay! Winter Wonderland: from 5th December 2008.

Elveden Forest

 

A holiday or a short break at Center Parcs at any time of year is a brilliant experience, but none more so at Christmas when a Fire and Ice Christmas theme is transported to
Elveden Forest. There will be plenty of fun Christmas activities to get involved in, such as Christmas themed fancy dress competitions, Christmas jewellery making and festive yuletide treasure trails.

Elveden Forest will also host Bjorn the Polar Bear and singing reindeer, which will be great fun for the whole family. Look forward to a magical fireworks display that will light-up the entire village and really help you get in the festive spirit.

Longleat Forest

 

Longleat Forest will be celebrating Christmas with a Winter Wonderland theme this year and the forest will reveal plenty of festive surprises over December. Don't miss the Igloo with Eskimos, the Rolling Gnomes, a fun animatronic band, and roaming choirs helping to put everyone in a festive mood.

Children will love the real live reindeers and there will be horse and carriage rides to visit Santa in his grotto. Follow the enchanted walk and discover a treat at the end of the path and there will also be a Santa and Snowman trail highlighting the delights of the forest in winter. Children can also have fun learning how to make some Christmas crafts and taking part in a wide range of activities with a festive slant. Christmas wouldn't be the same without a pantomime, so try not to miss it! At Longleat Forest this year the pantomime will be Cinderella. Winter Wonderland: 5th Dec 2008
